Katrina has 6 years of experience in the world of nutrition. She completed her B.S of Nutrition and Dietetics at Boston University. Shortly after, she moved to NYC to complete her M.S of Nutrition and Exercise Physiology at Teachers College, Columbia University, where she also completed her Dietetic Internship which includes 1200 hours of ACEND-accredited supervised practice in clinical, community and food service nutrition. For the first four years as a dietitian, Katrina gained experience working with and counseling individuals from all walks of life at a non-profit community nutrition program and private practice doctors office. Since then Katrina has sharpened her counseling and coaching skills by working exclusively with clients 1:1, and is eager to work hand in hand with you to help you reach your goals.

Counseling Philosophy:
Katrina encourages her clients to build a lifestyle that allows them to listen to their bodies, without any restrictions or "forbidden foods". She believes that developing a stable, healthy relationship with food is key to fostering positive food choices and improving overall mental and physical health. Katrina works closely with her clients to develop a positive mindset that focuses on living a healthy lifestyle beyond just food, touching on movement, hydration, stress management, and rest. She believes that small steps count the most towards your bigger goals, and she works closely with clients to develop an understanding of their current habits, and collaborate with them to develop an action plan each step of the way. Each individual is unique, so she takes a personalized approach and develops targeted steps for clients to create stronger, healthier, more confident versions of themselves.Personal Interest:Outside of her career as a dietitian, Katrina is a big animal lover. She has an orange tabby who is an excellent companion to a cycle of cats and kittens that she fosters for rescue organizations. She's also a big fan of movement, and enjoys getting out for walks by the East River, spinning, or strength training. Katrina is a big fan of traveling, and whenever she gets the chance to escape from Manhattan, you'll often find her jetting off somewhere warm and sandy.
