When you first meet Julia, you will find she is incredibly personable, professional and easily relatable. Julia has a soft and calming demeanor - you will immediately feel at ease while working with her.
Background:
Julia is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist who earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Nutrition from New York University, where she also completed her dietetic internship. Throughout her graduate studies, Julia discovered her passion for private counseling while working alongside reputable dietitians in New York City. More recently, she has gained extensive experience in medical nutrition therapy while treating an array of health conditions at Stamford Health, New York Presbyterian, and Mount Sinai Beth Israel. She has been providing individual nutrition counseling for several years and has a talent for empowering her clients to make permanent behavioral changes. She focuses on nutrition recommendations that are digestible, effective and realistic.
Julia is also passionate about helping women with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome and other hormonal imbalances. As someone who struggled with her own PCOS symptoms, Julia can empathize with those who may feel confused, overwhelmed, and frustrated with managing this condition.
She believes there is much more to nutrition than what someone eats and nothing rivals feeling healthy from the inside out!

Julia effectively counsels her clients using an integrative, whole person approach to nutrition. In her sessions, Julia addresses all dimensions of an individual’s life and considers all factors that influence your health & wellness (ie: sleep habits, stress & energy levels, physical activity, water intake, hormonal balance, etc). She provides personalized and science-backed recommendations with the main goal of helping her clients live a nutritious, well-balanced, and sustainable lifestyle. Instead of omitting food groups and living an ‘all-or-nothing’ mentality, Julia helps her clients focus on what they can add to their plate to bring back the joy in eating and create realistic, nourishing & satisfying meals.

Julia is an active member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND) and the Greater New York Dietetic Association. She is also an active member of the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals Foundation.
Personal Interests:
In her free time, you will likely find Julia cooking in the kitchen. Otherwise, known as her ‘happy place.’ She also loves to try new NYC restaurants, take a walk with a friend, listen to a great podcast, and spend quality time with friends and family!
